This is an outstanding collectible for the amusement park collector. It is a large banner commemorating the 50th anniversary of West View Park in 1955. Made of cloth and not nylon, it is an indoor item. We are not sure where it might have been hung but speculation has it in the "Danceland" dance hall. Very nice size 34½ inches wide by 35 inches high. It has been folded and stored in a large plastic bag for what appears to have been quite a while. It is in very good condition with just some minor problems. There is some staining. A large stained area in the right hand quadrant extending down into the RK of park. There is another stain on the white hanging border. The stain on the banner although large is very light. Please examine photos to get an idea of this. The silk screen letters are very good and fast to the material. They are in no way compromised.  There is just a little loss along a few edges, check magnified photo down the page. 25 years ago West View items become instantly scarce as collectors scarffed up all the goodies this small park could yield. Quality items from this park are almost impossible to find as most of them have found their way into a small number of collections. Unfortunately we are unable to accept less than the asking price on this item.
